In February 2022, a Cape Coral Florida police officer spotted a vehicle driving down the highway with a tag on it that just said traveler, once the officer stopped the vehicle and got out to speak with them The driver went into the sovereign citizen routine claiming he didn’t need a license or tag to travel. While searching, the individual found a firearm concealed on his person and he did not have a concealed carry permit so he was arrested. One month later, the sovereign citizen filed false liens against multiple judges and clerks at the Lee county courthouse, and he was arrested in charge with a slew of charges related to it .
