On April 21st 2019 Athens Clarke county Police Officers were called out to a residential neighborhood for a peeping Tom call, after speaking with the caller, they attempted to make contact with subject, who came to the door with a shotgun in hand, which resulted in an officer involved shooting. The suspect did not survive his injuries, and after an investigation by the Georgia Bureau Of investigation, Both officers were cleared of any wrong doing.
