Athens Clarke county police officers were called out to an apartment complex for a noise complaint. A neighbor complained that an upstairs neighbor snores really loud and that he’s constantly banging on the walls, the officers attempted to locate the individual and when they found him, he was hiding behind a tree and a dumpster in the apartment complex, they attempt to approach him to speak with him and he pulled out a gun and fired at the officers, forcing them to draw their weapons and shoot him, coincidentally, the shooting happened right in front of one of the officers own apartment. the individual does not survive his injuries
