1st Amendment Fail San Benito County Jail

First Amendment audit at the San Benito County Jail in Hollister California.

At first glance it looks like a lot of this area would be considered private or no trespassing just because it’s so isolated however there is no signs saying no trust passing and one of the sheriffs along with a out of uniform Sheriff approached me asking many questions and harassing me until their sergeant called them away and they probably realized afterwards I wasn’t doing anything wrong because then they were all waving bye to me when they left.

Guys: It’s important to educate these officers/sheriffs as they work for us the community and their salary as well as the properties are paid with our tax dollars.

Nothing wrong with being alert and keeping an eye on the facility but when engaging with the public for something as simple as taking a picture they need to learn to be more respectful and cordial.
