BODY CAM FOOTAGE STARTS AT 11:16
Today I am doing some thing a little bit different and rather than make a full blown edited true crime video, I am going to just show you the body cam footage from and interaction between a man named Juan Castellano and the Athens Clarke county police department. The events take place over two days, where 911 calls were placed, claiming that a man was walking through an apartment complex, waving a gun and shooting at people. Law enforcement had no luck finding the suspect on the first day, and it looked like he may get away, until the very next day when More 911 calls came in, claiming that a man was waving a gun and pointing it at people at a family recreational park here in Athens just down the road from the apartment complex where the calls came in from the day prior. The specific location was a splash pad full with a little children. Law enforcement immediately believed that it was the same suspect, and This time he did not get away before law enforcement could get there, which led to the events of the body cam footage, and the officer involved shooting of Juan Castellano.
